Web Programmer

Position requires a programmer with a background in web programming.

This individual will support classified Department of the Army projects that analyzes attacks on armored vehicles. He/she will maintain, upgrade, and post to the AAAP SharePoint sites on classified network. Experience in one or more of the following language skills: PHP, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and SQL in UNIX and/or MS Windows environments are required.

Software development responsibilities include assisting in development and deployment of database-driven web applications, primarily the ability to manipulate data and generate reporting from an Oracle database. Responsibilities also include preparing test scenarios for quality assurance testing of developed software and performing unit, integration and deployment testing of software. Data management responsibilities include extraction of raw data from database using SQL query and or XML as well as using data analysis tools and providing assistance with data analysis of extracted data.

Position also includes a help-desk support requirement. Visitors to the program's web pages and intelligence analysts responsible for posting analytic content will be supported with database queries, end-product formatting and other technology support as required. Experience in systems analysis techniques, concepts and methods, and knowledge of available system software, computer equipment, and open system architecture preferred.
