(LANHAM, Md.) — The U.S. Army Sustainment Command selected Data Solutions & Technology Incorporated to compete for future opportunities to provide maintenance operations, supply support and transportation services through its new Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) program. This award is a continuation of DST’s long standing 8-year track record of success meeting Army and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.
“We, at DST, are pleased to be counted among the contract awardees and look forward to supporting the needs of the Army and DoD through Army EAGLE,” said President and CEO Deborah Scott Thomas. “I truly appreciate the efforts of DST’s incredible team who has been instrumental in forging new opportunities and expanding existing initiatives for company growth.”
For the Army, as well as other DoD agencies, EAGLE will support full spectrum supply, maintenance, and transportation Global Logistics Services in support of major logistics operations and programs including Directorates of Logistics (DOLs), Army Prepositioned Stocks, Theater Provided Equipment, In-Theater Maintenance, Left Behind Equipment, Pre-Deployment Training Equipment, New Equipment Training, New Equipment Fielding, and RESET.
The EAGLE program is structured through a Basic Ordering Agreement, a written understanding – versus a traditional contract – between the government and selected contractors. It has a potential value of $23 billion for all contractors over its five-year period of performance. Work will be performed at multiple Army installations across the country.
“The Logistics and Operations Division at DST led this spirited business capture effort,” stated Senior Vice President Richard Valkos. “DST’s’ extensive and highly successful history of performing logistics and maintenance support operations for satisfied customers around the world guided us in this endeavor.”
A key task-order vehicle for the Army Sustainment Command calls for support services across eight primary military operations areas: operational planning, training, modeling and simulation, flight operations, mobilization planning and execution, deployment operations, force protection, and transformation.
“We, at DST, are dedicated to achieving 100% customer satisfaction and we take seriously our responsibility in delivering excellent service plus interactions with our clients and business partners,” stated Vice President for Business Development Betty Tingle. “We look forward to supporting the Army’s missions on future EAGLE task orders.”
