WASHINGTON, DC, March 21, 2014 – Data Solutions & Technology Incorporated President & Chief Executive Officer Deborah Scott Thomas was recognized among DC metropolitan area’s stellar minority business owners and leaders at the 7th Annual Minority Business Leader Awards program. The sold-out ceremony was held at the Ritz-Carlton DC on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
The Minority Business Leader Awards honored the most successful and influential minority executives and business owners. Washington Business Journal celebrated the strong group of exceptional individuals who have exhibited outstanding performance both professionally and in their community. The honorees were selected from a public pool of more than 200 nominations and determined by a panel of judges made up of program alumni.
“I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be among these successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. We share a common bond not only because we are minorities, but because we are big dreamers,” Thomas said. “This honor shows that through these dreams, entrepreneurial perseverance and expertise, we are respected, successful and recognized in the business world. I hope this award inspires future minority leaders.”
Like previous years, the Minority Business Leader Awards drew over 400 attendees of previous alumni, colleagues, friends, and family of the honorees as well as executives looking to network with minority-owned businesses.
